Thomas Metzger was an associate professor of mathematics and a former vice president of the University Senate at the University of Pittsburgh. Metzger received his B.A. from Seton Hall in 1965, an M.S. from Creighton University in 1967, and a Ph.D. in mathematics from Purdue University in 1971. He was an assistant professor at Texas A & M University from 1971 to 1973.
